Having worked out my stage fright on the band circuit, I decided to try my hand at Musical Theatre. Pretty simple really… first you sing, then you move to another part of the stage, then you say some lines, then you sing again. I can feel the Tony within my grasp already!

Seriously though, Ottawa is full of so many talented theatre folks! But forget about them.  Check out what I’m doing in theatre below.

Phantom of the Opry
The Gladstone Theatre - Feb. 22-25, 2017

A familiar tale… with a country twist! This comedic bonanza takes place in a Calgary Opry House on opening night… but there is trouble afoot! What trouble? And whose feet?  You’ll have to come down to find out!

I have composed 10 all-original songs for this performance, and will also be acting as band leader and musical director! I’m so excited to take on this new challenge and share it with the city!  Check the links below for more information on our cast and crew, or head to the Gladstone website to get tickets today!

My Fair Zombie

The Gladstone Theatre - May 4-7, 2016

My first foray into the world of musical theatre was a roller coaster of fun, suspense, mystery, and brains, of course. I played the role of Freddy, the dim-witted love interest to a somewhat disinterested Eliza. Throughout the course of this production, I learned more about performance than I ever thought possible, and met talented and wonderful people that I’m happy to now call friends. Plus there were Zombies!   What fun!
